    Can the shocks be rebuilt? I tried searching around but couldn't find anything. Sorry if this has already been asked/answered.

    according to Fox, yes. for normal use and road goers, do it at 50k.

    if mine get soft at some point, i'll probably purchase new 2.5's rather than remove, send, wait, pay, reinstall, and pay again. not sure but i'll be watching for a loss of dampening some time next year or so.

    If you have reputable 4x shops around you they can most likely do this for you. And then you dont have to deal with not having a truck for multiple days/shipping etc

    that would be a terrific option. i didn't think about it. my last car was nothing but custom bits and when one of my coilovers went out it was a routine 6-8 weeks on the rack before back to the road. crazy bs... one of the reasons i'm keeping my truck mechanically stock for the most part.
