I believe it’s probably because they have very limited production numbers

They don't make as many Pro Tacoma's so you won't see them as often.

Most of them are spoken for or sold within days of hitting the lot. Plus they are limited numbers

It could be that they're using "TRD" as one of the main keywords for searches and it picks that up as part of the search.

Because dealerships are dishonest as f*ck and would sell you a non pro without telling you even thought they listed it as a pro online.

Sorry I went back and edited
The word fuck for anyone who would be offended.

I don’t know if it’s always dishonesty, not defending used car dealers but most of the time it’s some chick or young kid posting the ad and they just go off the vin. The second gens were the worst, sr5s and off roads had vins that said Pro and my sport had a vin that said base. I had to argue with the guy when I traded mine in that it was in fact a base with the TRD Sport package.

If you are looking for a Pro, I would suggest starting with www.cars.com and then modify your search based on location, color etc... that is how I found mine earlier this year.

I would agree with that except for Toyota dealers. They know.

I traded mine into a Toyota dealer.

You traded in your non-trd pro into a Toyota dealer and they advertised it as a PRO? That’s shady as hell on their part man. Hope they have you TRD PRO trade in value!

I thought every Tacoma with a TRD Pro grille was a real TRD Pro?

No I said they argued about it being a base and I had to tell them it was a TRD Sport. But they did have an off-road they listed as a pro.

Yea that’s where they got the base. Like I said 2nd gens were weird with the vins, technically they were all base but then had the off road or sport package on top, except for the pro, that was just a pro. I can see where they get confused, but the ones that know what it is and still list as a pro, well they can go to hell.
