TRD Pros for MSRP? Do they exist?

Piercy in Milpitas did MSRP for a friend of mine, but it was about a year ago and I think they've shifted ownership. Good luck - would also recommend going out of state if you can swing it. Transport is pretty cheap and if you're honest about registering it in California, it's not like you'll be trying to dodge any taxes.

 

One Toyota in Oakland sells at MSRP, though I can't comment on whether that extends to the Pro models or not. I was in the market for a Trail Edition or Off Road, so I wasn't looking at Pros specifically.

Outside of the bay area, Elk Grove Toyota and Folsom Lake Toyota both sell at MSRP, but good luck finding any inventory on-hand. Thompson's Toyota up in Placerville dropped their $5k mark-up to make the sale to me on my '22 DCSB OR, so some dealers are willing to play ball. Worst they can say is "no" if you ask...but the answer is always no if you don't ask.

The absolute worst dealers to work with (Roseville Toyota, Maita Toyota, Hanlee's Toyota, Lodi Toyota) are the ones who appear to have a selection of inventory, but everything has a $5-10k mark-up over MSRP.

 

Whether you are planning to modify or keep it stock, just get the offroad model bro. Trust me, I'm a pro owner.

 

I agree, picked up a Lunar Rock TRD OR, already swapped out the OEM suspension for a 6112/5160 seutp. Ride quality is awesome.

 

I second this. I bought the TRD Pro for a few grand less than MSRP back in November 2019 when Magnussen Toyota (maybe check with them) had their year end deal. Went into it thinking I was going to keep it completely stock. Then as time went on, the more I stayed on this forum and looked at Instagram posts of people's rigs I ended up gutting the suspension, tires, etc. Could have saved a lot more money by going with the OR model. Definitely would have gone that route if I can travel back in time lol.
