A buddy hit my rear fender on my TRD Sport. The fender flare is the same color as the truck, silver. The flare is scraped up, and the sheet metal at the back of the wheel well is dented. I can pop it in or out with a plunger, but the metal will need to be repaired.

My question is: Will the body shop have to paint the flare, or do they come painted?

Any other advice on the repair is appreciated, since it's my buddy's "guy" who's doing the work and I'm not taking it to the body shop I normally would.

A new flare will have to be painted. Unless the original one can be repaired. I don't think those flares are textured so a repaired flare should look as good as new. Bodyman for over 30 years
