I seen on the 2009 models, you can request a TRD shifter option.
Any idea what this looks like? I'm assuming that this is shifter knob.. Possibly leather wrapped?

Just curious, since the dealership has no idea themselves, since they've never seen it.

How much does it cost? If it's about $300 bucks then it the short shifter. If it's cheaper then it's just a knob I am sure. Either way I would get the URD short shifter, I think it is better than the TRD one anyway and half the price.

I like the stock shift knob best. Its got a good ergonomic feel. Save your $40 for something like a future weathertech floor mat purchase:cool:

Yeah bro thats just a knob. I have the TRD ball knob and I like it. I know everyone loves the leather wrapped one but I like the round hard plastic TRD knob.

What does this bad boy look like? Does it say TRD on it?

I ordered a TRD knob for my 97 tacoma, and it was 100$, but was pretty sweet. Leather wrapped with TRD crests on the sides.
