TRD shifter upgrade. Any options of changing the color?

....I hear the trd shifter knob adds 17hp and 1mpg so I totally want it

Kidding of course. Or am I?

Anyway. I want to change the red in it to blue to match the voodoo blue truck I’m getting. I don’t have a steady enough hand to paint it. So Can I order it somewhere like that or is it possible to take apart?

 

Take apart the top cover and paint the red plastics piece. There is a guy that will do it and restitch to color match

You can do this yourself as mentioned above. I just blacked out the threads with a permanent Fabric marker. Just has to do a few coats. In the near future you may also be able to get one of these to match the blue.

I did it the easy way and ordered the decal kit for $5.00. in blue. Problem is i ordered. the match for voodoo blue instead of cavalry. Ive got the cavalry on the way.
