    Hello everyone,

I am about to purchase a used TRD skid plate for relatively cheap but the downside is that it’s missing the hardware bolts/spacers and brackets.

Does anyone know the part number to the hardware kit? I’ve found the part number for the 3rd gen skid plate hardware but not the 2nd gen.

Or maybe someone has the page from their skid plate instructions which should have the bolt/spacer specs and maybe the bracket part numbers.

    Any help is appreciated.

This is the install instructions, from what I could find:
    https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/res...78aa0000a9cd_my05- tacoma skid plate issc.pdf
But it doesn't list the bolt sizes like the 3rd gen skid plate does.
    http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/PTR60-35160inst.pdf

The bolt threading would be the same of course, but I don't know about the spacing.

It should work, used all the 3rd Gen hardware that came with my PRO skid on my 2nd Gen.

Yea you’re right, I’ll probably just end up buying the 3rd gen hardware kit and hope it works on the 2nd gen. Still missing the brackets and that may be the key part I need.

Nice! I’ll probably just go this route knowing that the hardware is the same.

No I didn’t end up buying the skid plate because I couldn’t source the missing brackets. Thanks for the input tho. What ever happened to your truck repairs?

Oh no worries! Overall the truck is fully repaired just waiting for the DV claim and a few other final steps. But that could take 6 months lol
