Im such a noob so I apologize if this has been answered, or if the answer is obvious...

Looking to install a TRD skid plate on my 2017 taco. I noticed the black factory skid comes in 2 parts when i remove the bolts, do i take both of them off and install the TRD SKID plate or do i leave at least the black rear piece on there? I included both pieces in the picture.

For now i removed both, but wanted to make sure before i dispose of these parts only to find out i needed them later on. Any opinion welcome, and thanks.

The black plates are no longer needed your TRD skid will take their place.
