TRD Skid Plate Oil Filter Panel

Hello. I cannot find any info about this and tried calling my local dealersip. I recently got my third 3rd gen. (Traded my 2018 and totaled my 2021) I was able to get another cement grey 2021. It came with the TRD skid plate. However, while looking at the engine, I realized the little access panel for the oil filter is missing. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement or have a possible part number for one? I'd also be willing to buy one from someone that has a damaged/unused skid plate. Thank you.

 

I doubt they are separate. You may find a fab shop to make one for you.

 

It is the oem TRD skid plate. It is listed on the original window sticker. The "door" is what I am missing. It is exactly like the one pictured above. Dealership says they don't sell just the door. I was hoping to find one somehow, but I may need to find someone to fabricate one like suprafastcelica said if I have no luck.

OOOHHH you're missing the panel COVER itself?? Was unclear as I didn't know what "door" meant. Why not go to a junk yard and see if any will sell the cover separate? Otherwise, yeah, gotta have one made most likely.

 

How about a mission to visit the 10 nearest quickie oil-change shops and see if any of them have a 'left behind' skid plate door that's taking up too much space?

 

Believe me, it crossed my mind. I actually thought about calling the dealership that did the last service for the last owner, but I am sure that'd be a long shot.

 

You might even check with your local Toyota dealership shop to see if they have any laying around. They left mine off after an oil change. I went back and they produced one for me (with screws).
