Does anybody know if there is a space between the skid and the center jacking point on the truck, and how much space is there. If someone goes under to change oil or something can you check please, I’d like to put a spacer in there before I mount my skid. Thanks

I jacked my truck up by the OEM Pro skid yesterday. There are spacers on the mounting bolts.

There is very little if any space between jack point and skid once the skid is installed. Jacking up on the skid at this point won't deform the skid to any noticeable degree.

This is my experience also. There is a small hole on the pro skid to identify the location of the jack pedestal behind it.

Ok thanks man, I know the aluminum is thick and stout but saw a post where the skid cracked on the curved sides at the weld, so I just wanted to be sure jacking on it wouldn’t cause any problems......
    Thanks again

Just make sure to jack at the mark if possible.

I’ve lifted mine with the skid a bunch of time and its taking a beating as well. It’s held up great.

As others have mentioned, Toyota dictates that you can jack the truck up by the skid plate, as long as you're jacking against the plate at trucks jacking point. See the documentation below.
