Weathertech floor liners, MacNeil dark window deflectors, debadged, dedecaled.
I bought one used from Craig's List, it had a small scratch as he got a new one from insurance after a wreck. It came with no instructions.
    a) do I remove the existing factory skid plate?
    b) aren't there some thick washers/spacers that go under a couple of the bolts?
b1) Does anyone have a couple of spacers to spare?
b2) Or a photo of the spacers?

    thanks!

    Ken (from Atlanta)

Yes, the stock plate stays on the truck and yes, there should have been some washers that came with it.

The middle bolts require spacers (about 1/2" high or so). You could just stack some washers and get the same effect. Holding them in place to slide the bolt through will be the challenge but just take time. You may even find some spacers at any home improvement store.

Is there a problem if you take off the stock skid plate? I had a shop install mine and they removed the stock because they said it got in the way, made it harder to change the oil etc....any issues with removing it?

Dealership removed my stock one too and sent me home with it. My guess is that the dealer would know.

Sorry to crash the party here, but I didn't realise there was a difference between a TRD skidplate and a non TRD skidplate. Pics maybe?
