Hey TW, just wondering, does anyone sell the or do you know anywhere that sells the TRD snorkel? I like ARB but I like how the TRD snorkel intake is higher than the ARB plus the it says “TRD” on it. Any info, if any?

Just saw your thread. Great info on how to get my hands on a snorkel, but how the heck do I get a TRD Pro vin #?
    Maybe I'll stick with ARB . . .

That's actually easy, you can find one for sale and more than likely the VIN would be listed for the carfax.

You didn't hear this from me.

Look on car fax or go to your dealer and ask them to give you a vin# on of a trd pro they recently sold [WITH THE SNORKEL KIT ON THERE] I did it that way,, no problem

Say I have the vin#, what would I do next? What am I supposed to say to the dealer? "I accidentally broke my snorkel"?

YOU GOT IN A FENDER BENDER. They will not ask they don't care. They just sell parts.. TOYOTA DISTRIBUTION CENTER NEEDS THE VIN# they will not ship this to any dealer without the vin# for a trd pro that did not come from the factory with the snorkel.. Also this will need to be ordered. They do not stock this. Call your dealer with the vin# to the trd pro with the snorkel and they will call you when it arrives. Mine took 24 hours. They had it in stock in the supply house in west va.
You will also need the black molding strip that goes from the front to the rear on the roof, there is a cut out for the roof bracket for the top of the snorkel. I suppose you could cut your molding that is on there now to fit around it if you wanted too.

How about just giving him the part numbers you clearly have and he can source where he wants?
