I have a 12 TRD Sport with auto-LSD and it uses the braking system to direct power to the non spinning wheel. It can only be activated by the switch. I have never heard of Toyota using the style of diff you're referencing here

Ok, so the tire doesn,t have enough load to stick on the ground and the suspension is compensating ? which is causing wheel hops ?

Or it has too much air pressure. It's safe to run them at a lower PSI

I shall have to check because from what I've read my side walls on the duratracs are quite weak

I've read in numerous places that most oem generic shocks lose over 50 percent of their dampening ability between 0 and 10k miles and by 40k miles they're at the end of their life, no matter what a dealer says. I'm sure a lot of new truck/car owners can attest to this from real experiences. I can. People just get used to riding on shitty suspension components. Replace your shocks.

I think this is it right here... a combination of a few things. If the road has washboard then the best you can do is slow down. I have a family member who lives out of town on a road filled with washboard and while lower PSI is going to help, low speed is what is really needed to keep everything under control. I would think a little weight in the back may help some though.

Id try like 26-28 if you do a lot of dirt roads or 30 - 32 if you do alot of highway driving. I run mine at 32 unless I know im doing alot of highway driving then I bump it up to 36. offroad I lower it down to 15-20

Doing over 900km each weekend this time, and 220 is a dirt/log road. I'll have to inflate/deflate when i leave/enter that road. But i will definitaly reduce my every day pressure to 32. The problem is with any washboard or bumpy zone

the actual pressure was 33 psi, took it down to 27 and tried it on a local dirt road, wasn't able to reach 80kmh but the slippery feeling on washboard seems to be gone, replaced by a feeling of sticking to the road ;) Ultimate test on friday.
