Nah I like um too. I think everyone is changing to aftermarket so I might stay with my stocks and be unique. Lol

The thing I like, in the general trend, is that the back side of the wheel is painted, not all silver. That makes cleaning much easier. On our old cars, I used to wash the back side of the rims when doing tire rotations.

The machined look would be fine with me if they hit it with just a bit of tint. The shine is just too much. Still, better than what used to pass for OEM alloys.

    Definitely.
Looking at my buddies 2nd generation sports, the stock wheels are pretty ugly

Looks great! How was the install process? Curious how much time it took you. I’m planning to put mine on tonight and will post pics.

Did 2 of my wheels tonight, will take care of the other side tomorrow. Very happy with how this looks. A few comments from my experience. Definitely wear latex or nitrile gloves, the sticky side of the vinyl will come in contact with your hands a lot and you’ll keep the surface cleaner this way (thanks DrSouthPaw for that tip!) Also, when I peeled back the top part of the vinyl and started lining up the top and the wings, I would cut the top part of the backing paper with scissors because it was getting in the way. Best piece of advice is to stay patient. I was kind of bewildered with my first few tries and ruined a few of the vinyls early on, but then I got the hang of it and made no big mistakes thereafter. This vinyl is very forgiving, you can peel it off as many times as you want to get the placement just right. Just know that you don’t have to be perfect. I’d get so frustrated with myself and think I was doing everything wrong then I’d step back a foot and look and I couldn’t notice any issues. Also agree with DrSouthPaw that it’s way easier if you keep moving the truck so that the part of the wheel you’re working on is on the top and as straight as possible.

Here are a couple of daytime pics this morning. Really loving the look of these. $59 total for the Sport vinyls and center cap decals, I think it makes a huge difference. Thanks so much to PikesTaco and PikesTacoSister for bringing these to market! I would highly recommend these if you plan on sticking with the stock Sport wheel but want to try something new that will change the look of your current ones.

How did you get the centercap TRD stickers on? Did you have to remove the wheels? Or does the center cap pop out with the wheels already mounted?

A good pull with a spring hook tool near any lug nut will get the caps off. From there, the badges can be popped out from the back side.

I put mine on yesterday. Here are pics without the TRD centercap stickers. I have them, just haven't put them on yet.

truck 2.jpg truck 1.jpg truck 3.jpg I applied mine last week and I love it. Makes my truck look totally different. I think when these start to peel or wear out I'll derp my wheels.

Looks great! Yes some kind of hook tool would be helpful to get the center caps off (Tonered gave me a heads up on that one!) The front center caps actually came off easily by hand but for some reason the back ones were on pretty tight so you’ll need a tool to get back in there and pull.

Depending on your tastes these TRD center cap decals are a great combo with the wheel vinyls, both for OR and Sport. Most of the decal is black and the red lettering with TRD is small so its subtle.
