Oh , the OP wants to haul motorcycles , so he probably would prefer a longbed .

You missed the earlier tamponnery .

I guess the world is going to end cause you can't get an off road in a long bed. I guess if you off road the taco has to be able to go anywhere or it isn't worthy. What a crock of shit. Let's all give up long beds so we are capable of going anywhere, even if we're not going to.

    Here's the lowdown:

-SR5 gets you the truck with your basic needs at the lowest initial price. You can get aftermarket gear to make it equal or more capable than an OR.

-Pre-2009(?), you had to get a Sport to get LSD, but it is now standard gear. Sport only adds creature comfort

-The reason to get a Sport is for the TRD seats. They are comfy as hell (note OR has same seats). There's some other things here and there, but not as important.

-OR gives you a factory locker and ATRAC. You will have to sacrifice the LB, but you can get a bike trailer

Based on your requirements, I would see if you could save money by getting the SR5, swapping for sport seats, then adding lockers if you get to that point.

OK so the thread has been hijacked for someone being called gay, great. truth is this... i like both and if the sport will ride alot better, maybe i should look into that bc the vast majority of my driving will be on the road, back and forth to post. however, if i get more with the trd OR, then maybe i need to go with that.

doesnt matter b/c i can fit my CBR1000RR in either.. we are only talking 19 inches longer for the LB.. i will have to keep the tailgate down mind you, but that isnt a problem. i have done it before in my buddies double cab and it worked fine hauling it from myrtle beach, sc to johnson city, tn.
