TRD SPORT or TRD OFF ROAD

    Is there a difference between TRD sport and TRD off road.
    i have a 2010 4 doors sr5 sport TRD options and on the side of my truck it's written TRD SPORT.
    And today i saw a TRD OFF ROAD at the dealer.

    WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE??????

    16'' wheels, locking rear differential, chrome accents, Offroads only come in shortbeds, etc.

    Sport has color matching bumper, side mirrors and hood scoop with the option of the long bed (6ft) the off road only comes in the short bed (5ft) has chrome rear bumper, flat hood, non-painted side mirrors but comes with a rear diff locker.

    ok,,,i have the hod scoop and painted bumber ect....6 feet bed,,,
    BUT the mecanics and suspension is all the same.....except locking rear diff.

    The sport has the blistens tuned to be stiffer for a more 'sporty' road performance.... It's actually rougher.

    Not in the US, we have Offroads in DC's and AC's, and Sports in DC's and AC's.

    Here in Quebec Canada we don't have all those options
    the Canadian web site does't tell much also.
    The Tacoma at the dealer here whit the OFF ROAD package is from the state.

    Where did you get this info? I've never heard of it and from what I've seen they use the exact same bilstein part number.

    The Offroad has Progressive springs and the Sport has Linear springs, along with the Offroad having a smaller diameter roll bar, are what make the ride differences. The Sport feels stiffer but bottoms out easier and has less articulation.
