Not mentioning the fact that the TRD sport is setup for street.
The offroad maybe better on the trail, but where I drive the sport
corners flatter than the off road and will go thru curves faster and out handle the offroad TRD on the road!
Dont buy trucks to offroad more 1 percent of the time so the TRD Sport makes sense!

Agreed... if the truck needs to look like a 'sport car' with color matched things and a hood scoop.. and you want that, great! Toyota sells a lot of Sport Trucks!

Just as long as the buyer is informed about what the Off Road has... Too often, I hear a Sport owner said that when they asked what the difference was he got this answer: "The Off Road just has a plain hood and a chrome bumper..." Maybe a rear locker is mentioned, but Active Traction Control and the Hydraulic Brake Booster is not.

I want a truck to look more like a truck and not have a fake anything on it. Toyota should at least have made a hood scoop that actually scoops air into the engine!

My decision was based on looks and I knew I wanted the trd interior. I went with the Sport.

Throw a Hellwig swaybar on and it does even better. And it still has good ground clearance for a little offroading. Love my truck!

it does to me, i'd never live in a country where you couldn't, and i think it's retarded as is california and illinois gun laws

back on topic i'd rather have the sports LSD that i can use every day vs a locker i can only use off road
