The Offroad has the locker, the sport has lsd.

2005-2008 TRD Sport has the mechanical LSD
2009 to current - they ALL have the AUTO LSD.
(2009+ TRD Offroad will have the locker & the Auto LSD)

The locker is the only real difference.

Do the 2011 sport models not come with the e-locker? I went down the local dealership and found a Tacoma double-cab, long bed, TRD Sport, scoop, etc that stated it had an e-locker. Was it a misprint maybe? Or an added option?

Misprint, or else you misread the ALSD as E-locker. Or I suppose in an extreme case a dealership took a TRD Off-Road and dressed it as a Sport.

Bottom line is the Sport does not have the locker, the Off-Road does.

Thanks, good to know, it was a 4x4 also and just thought that maybe they had decided on adding the e-locker to the newer models. Thanks for the reply.

"locker". A different program and I hear bigger brakes to accomodate it.

Doesn't the sport also have the ability to change the ride comfort. Weather it is on road or off road?
