How do you like the Icon progressive AAL three pack? Any problems with them on, or installing them?

i like them, only issue with install is you will have to grind off a rivet near the rear of the stock leaf spring to allow you to remove the leaf guide/guard thing because it interferes with the icon aal install. its not very difficult install, took about 1.5 hours for me. they ride ok, i honestly am just trying to get used the the rough ride of a truck after driving cars my whole life. I first changed the sport shocks out for the trd offroad bilsteins..then i went to the 5100s with the stock spring on 1.1" setting and a 1.5 rear block, now im running 887 springs with the 5100 and the aal. I really wish i could find something that soaked up the little bumps better. I know much of this harsh ride is due to running much beefier tires than cars use but i figured there would be some way to improve the ride..I have yet to find it.

Are the 887s stiff, and how much lift do they give you again?
I've been driving a truck for most of my driving life so I really don't notice the harshness of vehicles, which is good and bad.
Where did you order the AAL from and does it come with good instructions?

Are you talking about the two most rear leaf pack rebound clips? The thing that goes through the bottom up into the leaf that almost looks like a carriage bolt head?

i ordered the aal from Amazon, instructions are very confusing but @Rob Daman made a youtube video that shows it pretty well

Oh yeah, I've seen his video, but wasn't sure if the process was different because he used HS's three leaf AAL. Good to know it's similar.

@Rob Daman which leaf pack clips did you have to grind off?

    a lot
    It's the rear stocker.

Most 3 leafs there's a good chance you'll need to grind it.

    Single leafs you may not.

I'm starting to think a single AAL might be a better route. Progressive AALs are more forgiving without loads though, right?

Sorry folks, I forgot to post my first photo of my new Sport here. This photo session was last Saturday, 30JUN, just two days after taking him home. I wanted to document what he looked like in all stock form... So far, nerf bars have been added, the 1/4 panel stickers have been replaced, sealant put on, and a few other small odds and ends.

1.55" front lift with 1/4" spacer on driver side. 1" tapered block in the rear, but looking into single AALs and progressive e 3 pack AALs options.
Level 8 black MK6s are slowly arriving...one at a time. 265/70/17 KO2s on the way, Samsclub blowing balls with slow delivery to store. Haha
Hopefully will have rims and tires mounted and aligned then I will consider the AAL.

No lift yet, working on that but it's slowly getting to look like I want it. Once I add the lift, will be changing out rubber's.

Hey, what size wheels are those (width)? That stance is aggressive! How do the Falkens drive on roads and highways?
