this is true, but whenever you buy a used car, you should always inspect it, know the prices for the vehicals, and do your homework. But I too would be pissed...but I dont think that makes people who put on the stickers gay...to each their own!:)

Larry - I hear ya - the sticker means very little. I was really planning on getting a 4x4 dbl cab SB with the SR5 pkg. Once I started driving the trucks I really liked the 17" wheels and I really, really liked the sport seats better - so I decided since I plan on driving this thing for 10+ years - what the hell. A 2010 pyrite mica DC 4x4 is a very nice truck - I narrowed it down to two trucks - the black TRD Sport I bought - and a pyrite mica DC SR5 that I almost bought. I really couldn't have gone wrong with either one.

He asked if it was gay or not...

I think yes or no would do, but people feel the need to analyze that and find the true psychological meaning behind gayish stickerizing of their non-gay masculine Tacomas, by adding masculine TRD stickers that somehow take a perfectly non-gay truck and gay it up...

    ?

I think I would leave off the TRD decals; or take the sage advice of applying Sockmonkey decals, should the desire for adhesive-backed applications become overwhelming...

    OMG

    a) are you serious...you don't know what caveat emptor means?

    b) is this what the public schools are now turning out?

    c) you don't know how to at least use Google? ie. see B above. lol

OK...the above is tongue-in-cheek (my God, I hope you understand what "tongue-in-cheek" means)...but, in seriousness...if the public/government schools have let you down...or your parents have let you down...there is still hope...

put down the video games and get educated.

    Good luck.

I already knew what i ment, but why did you use "let the buyer beware" in latin? To make yourself sound kinda intelligent? Goojob ill give you rep for trying to sound smart
And.... OMG  you are the answer and the person ive been wanting to look up too. Oneday ill be as smart and wise as you!!!
    1. I should drop my computer programming major (who needs that money, when i can make your minimum wage job)
    2. Get a mid life crisis because my ex cheated on me and my kids think im a total loser.
    3. Spend every waking moment on an internet fourm and flame random people to get aroused, because you are too cheap to buy viagra.
    4. Learn a dead language.

Oh and btw there was a Tacoma at a dealership for sale which used to belong to my friend that had a TRD All Terrian sticker on it but they were selling it as a "TRD Off Road package" even though it was an SR5. Learn to stay on topic, if you gonna flame on the internet then you need reevaluate your life.

    OME and worth every penny.
mine says TRD but the only thing left is the locker. And I'd just as soon have a LSD that needs no button pushing, rocking to engage. I changed shocks, springs and dumped the tin pan "skid plate". It was just always in the way of oil changes and we have no rocks here. Really i always hought those Z71,FX4,TRD decals were cheezy anyway.

In 2000 I bought a used non-TRD 1999 V6 SR5 access cab PreRunner that had the Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and rear diff locker. Since it had all of the stuff, I spent the $70 at the dealer and put TRD stickers on.
