I don't think any of the TRD think their trucks are superior to the non-TRD trucks. It's the idea that if you don't have a TRD, don't shout that you do. It's the same as running Z71 stickers on a non Z71 Chevy, running GT emblems on a standard Mustang, Z28 emblems on a standard Camaro, wearing a fake Rolex, etc.

Heat it up a little with a hair dryer or heat gun. The warmer it is outside, the easier it is to get off. If it's cold outside you can still do it, but heat it will require more heat from the heat gun. Peel back a corner with your fingernail and then pull off the sticker. This will leave behind the glue. Now use some 3m adhesive remover and it will get the glue off. Next use some light rubbing compound if you can see where the sticker was. Then a coat of wax over the area.

    Wondering...

Was looking at a Tacoma the other day, 1st gen, either acc or dbl cab, can't remember.

Had a TRD Off Road sticker on the bed.

    Looked underneath....only a 4x2 truck.

Did the driver slap on a TRD sticker?

Kind of funny, but I was in Jamaica this summer, and there were TRD stickers on lots of things - trucks, cars, those little mini-bus things that they use for the tourists... interestingly, those busses had snorkels more often than not.

    something I never understood.

I've noticed in recent years that one can now buy a Chevy Z71 in 2wd.

    I don't get it.
