    Well since we discovered that UPR is OOP now, I think @12TRDTacoma found a used Thump one, I actually went with Steeda. The other billet options were going to run me $600-$800 because of the effing exchange rate and shipping. Was originally going to do Roosh but I didn’t like the look of their cast. Not ideal but I’ll let you know how Steeda goes. It ended up just over $250 for me.

    Now I won’t get it before Halloween because it has to cross the border. If I can pay for expedited shipping, I will, then I can hit the dyno again before it gets overly cold.

    Much appreciate the info! That's not a bad price at the least. If it works out I'll be ordering one.

    @Speedwaytacotuesday

    How are you liking the 840cc injectors, and does Scott have a baseline tune for those, or did he write you a custom map for it? Trying to decide whether I should go with these, or the 61lb injectors whenever I upgrade. Also curious if you know what your injector duty cycle % is with the 2.3"?

    How do you like your trutrac? debating between one of these and a selectable locker for more traction off the starting line in 2wd..

    @rjbiii I like the trutrac a lot, really is an improvement over open. I like the idea of a mechanical LSD over a locker I will admit.

    They are no injector ID'S so with that in mind coupled with the fact they are quite large I think they are the reason why my idle isn't perfect. My idle bounces around a bit more than it should within the high 14's and even a brief poke on low 15's on occasion. That could also be attributed to a vacuum leak, exhaust leak etc..but I've done enough testing to make sure those are ruled out. If you want to avoid adding a 7th injector down the road then I'd get the 80lbs over the 61lbs. Unless you desire the cooling effect from the 7th. I was boosted with a rotrex when I went with the 80's. The rotrex being wayy more efficient along with a large intercooler I felt I didn't need the cooling from a 7th but would rather benefit from the more even fuel distribution of larger injectors.
    Scott simply selects the size of injectors within the software and it proportionally adjusts fuel to the injectors size so no custom tune needed.

    Injectors Dynamics - top of the line injectors. Core wise starts out as a Bosch but much superior to it's identical looking sibling. Flow tested and ported to have much better spray pattern for atomization. Most tuners beg you to run them to avoid idling issues and ease of tuning with high powered machines.

    Ohhhh, so were these not the ones that URD sells on their website? Or am I understanding this wrong.. What it sounds like to me is they aren't the "name brand" Deka/Siemens ones so to speak..

    Yeah I'll probably go the same route you did. Much more simple to just throw a trutrac in there an call it a day vs all the wiring involved with a locker. Do you notice any wheel chirp when turning? and how smooth is it when suddenly mashing the throttle? I guess im most curious if its clunky whenever it locks up

    It will chirp around corners if I give it a lot of throttle. But then, I would theoretically be chirping regardless. It's not annoying, I kind of like it, makes me feel badass or something... It's very smooth actually. I don't get any wheel hop, I'm not sure if that's just because of the tires I have, or the spring helpers, or what, but yes very smooth.

    Good injectors are really underrated.

    Just went back and watched this a few times. Sounds like your truck is louder than mine, which I didn't think was possible lol. Love the way yours sounds though, sounds great. Its pretty much impossible to hear the whine anymore with mine. It's all exhaust noise. im assuming it's the same with yours?

    Yeah you're pretty much right, the whine is barely audible over the exhaust. I can hear it at cruising though, if I'm out of the throttle in middling rpm. I noticed I could hear it more loudly in that case after I did work to reduce belt slip!

    I have a video in my build, and for some reason you can hear it with the windows up in the video, but I never heard any of that when I made the video. I have kinda noticed the same thing you said mid-rpm not in the throttle, or right when I tip into the throttle, I can hear it for a split second, then the exhaust comes alive and overruns it

    @rjbiii I gave you a shout out at the top of this build thread... you and some of the other juggernauts of forced induction have really helped my get the most out of this project. Also, how was the break in of the clutch? Am I the only one who thought it was super uncomfortably difficult to gauge the engagement point of the 3+ clutch while it was breaking in?
