    I welcome all challengers :). Have yet to find another mid size that can keep up with me lol. Shit, most full sizes can barely keep up. I'm by no means a race car or even fast comparatively, but I fucking love how much power the truck has now

    Can you compare the s/c'd truck to another vehicle? Fast is a relative term and I'm just wondering what other fast cars or trucks your had or driven to compare. I am really trying to justify my want for a s/c.

    I agree - I was be a tad sarcastic...

    I bought my truck last year. I could have gone with the "new" one, but chose the proven one. Haven't had a single regret (and I am sure I won't.)

    I also have a TRD S/C waiting to be installed.

    What are you waiting for? It is so much more fun to drive afterward! And then be sure to do the URD 2.85 pulley to make it feel like the way it should have come from the factory, raising boost from 6psi to 8psi.

    Stock SC 4.0 0-60 is about 6.5 seconds. Adding the pulley improves that number for very little cost. But what is really transformed is the passing power and torque without the need to over rev for more power. I can break the rear end free in the rain on the freeway at speed, running 32s. It won't make it into a sports car but it totally changes the truck.

    Well, most sports cars on the road I keep up with up just fine until that pesky governor kicks in,(on a closed track obviously :anonymous: ) but pretty much any other stock truck on the road, full size included, are usually pretty surprised when they try to take off on me and I pull ahead of them. The pulley definitely wakes up the SC alot more. My first time taking on a truck was some dude in a GMC turbo diesel gunning it light to light, I got the go ahead from the wife and got next to him at the next light, worst shifting Ive ever done, still stayed ahead of him the whole time, and that was with stock everything except SC installed. With all the other performance stuff now and the pulley, plus way more experience with the stage 3 clutch, it wouldnt even be a challenge these days. Anyone that wants to pick up some more horsepower for the truck, I whole heartedly say to get the SC. Not only that, but I went of the California Grapevine (super steep mountainous pass) in 6th gear on cruise control, and there was no struggling at all, just watched the boost meter climb up anytime the grade got too steep, I was impressed

    You don't count! You have a race truck lol. But I'd LOVE a ride in yours someday! Someday when I've got the disposable cash, I'm picking up another 4.0 to turn in to a 4.3 or so and having some real fun :). May e I'll swap over to the URD SC at that point for 400+ hp :D

    I walked a 2010 5.4L Ford Raptor with a K&N intake and an aggressive tune last weekend. My buddies truck, we were out playing. He was excited because he got it all tuned up. HAHA

    Nothing to gauge it with yet, except my old memory of how it used to run with the older built engine. So I cannot say. Won't be long and we'll all know though. Pound for pound though his 4.3L stroker engine will make more hp per psi than my over bored 4.17L engine.
