    Plus the low end grunt is what I'm looking for. I'd go with the equal length Spec U's but they don't fit with TC gussets

    Question for those who have had a s/c put on......So I skimmed over the instructions after I got home Friday and noticed they had to remove the hood latch assembly and put in a new hood support bracket. (Pages 27-28). I didn't realize until yesterday that the assembly seems to make the hood appear to look uneven while being shut. It closes all the way, it just makes the hood look off. The best way I can explain it is the assembly is put on and set just a tad too high so now when you shut the hood it kinda makes it appear like I pulled the release inside the cab but didn't open the hood. Looking at the latch assembly it looks like it only goes on one way and there is no adjusting it. I'm just curious if anyone else has had the same problem.
    Also, I checked as good as I can. The hood is not resting on something it shouldn't be or hitting something upon closing......it is definitely the hood latch assembly.

    You replace a support that runs straight down behind the latch.. The latch goes back on in the same exact spot. You will need to cut the guard that goes around the latch, it hits the new radiator until you cut about a 1/2" off the bottom... There is very little adjustment in the latch bolting on, try loosening it up and holding pressure on it down while tightening it. I remember the holes being round and not oval as if it could be adjusted

    I believe I did read that they had to trim one of those pieces. Maybe they did not trim it enough.

    If they didn't, you would see it hitting the radiator. I wouldn't think that peice would effect the way the hood closes. It's a pretty flimsy peice of thin sheet metal. Not even sure what it does. Maybe just a guard so someone can't get to your hood latch
