    Except it was all a ploy by TRD/Toyota to sell more shit, so they're gonna release S/C's that are better.

    Buy the supercharger kits from the guy that has more posts than anyone saying don't buy the supercharger because it is not worth it... :rolleyes: :)

    I have the S/C but still running the stock air intake. What's a good air intake to run with the S/C?

    What? Uh maybe if youre a toyota parts guy. Cheapest i found and bought at was $4300 shipped for both. If youre asking a theoretical question based on HP/cost then I dunno, maybe 2-3k for actual HP gain per dollar. If youre asking how much everyone has paid...youre gonna be paying at LEAST 5K+ this late in the game

    They would have sold more kits in that price range, it wouldn't have ben a question when I bought my truck as to having it installed before leaving the lot.

    I read your truck build page, Did you get a SC without any internals? The dyno results were sad.

    One of Toyota's claims is they did not sell enough to see a good profit. I am just wondering where that perfect price point would be for people on here to buy them to the point Toyota would not have that as a reason to discontinue the supercharger.

    Just to be clear I think the S/C is a great design, but overhead cost is what hurt it.

    Yes I got the fit kit from Toyota of Clermont. PTR29-35090 for $1200 & PTR29-35120 for $875. Total $2075.00 not to bad I think.
