I've got an issue with my Supercharger that's on my 4cyl . It has bearing noise coming from the drive snout . I brought the truck to a shop for repairs and ordered a bearing kit for it

I got a call the other day and they told me one bearing race has spun and won't come out . Does this mean the supercharger is beyond repair or ???? . The truck only has 86k miles and I've had the oil in the supercharger changed at 60k miles and now has 86k miles on it

How hard is it to change bearings on a Eaton M62 supercharger ???

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Has this shop ever seen one of these Super Chargers ?

Pictures are always a good help.

Changing bearings is directly related to how severe of a failure you had.

Each one is going to be somewhat different .

You really want a shop that works on forced induction as the main business.

With the inflated prices in years past to do a rebuild was around $3,000.00 It does take some skill to set things up when the parts have been replaced.

This shop is a performance automotive repair shop and has successfully repaired a few Eaton M62 superchargers and I've had my 600hp camaro there for repairs , So I trust this shop

For a a month or so ive been noticing belt squeal only on decel or low rpm cruise . I had this shop diagnose the noise and by using a mechanics stethoscope they heard noise behind the pulley on the blower snout

I have the 4-cyl supercharger and it’s due for a rebuild, if you’re having issues I’d have the whole thing sent to a supercharger shop. I’m planning on using Jon Bond Performance, avoid High Speed Labs.

Jon Bond is the place to go.
