    Check that, check the wiring the whole way for any possible heat damage or anything. Anything that looks melted or crushed is probably a failure.

    The gauge start up procedure is completely normal. It just doesnt read correctly. Ill check all that later today.

    The electronics are fine, i wiped the sensor gently as best I could, started it and still the problem remains.

    How about all the wiring? I'd pull it out and check all of it to look for any heat damage.

    Did you use any antiseize on its threads during initial installation? If so, silver or copper?

    If you shake the sensor, do you hear any rattling?

    Ok. If you get a new sensor, make sure to only use copper based antiseize.

    Ok so it is time. Before the s/c goes on I'm switching out the weird bigger-than-stock pulley should I go with the 2.2 or 2.1? Daily driver, Texas elevation, and if I install the s/c by itself can the 7th kit and fuel pump wait? Or does that need to be installed ASAP? Cause I have that in the box as well.

    And this question has been spammed to max I'm sure, but what's the best way to go about switching the pulleys? Should I pay someone to do it?

    Do it all yourself. The pulley install is eeaaasssy, just follow the directions and remember, once start putting the new pulley on, DONT STOP. Just make sure you have all the correct tools on hand. As for the 7th and fuel pump, Id say they aren't required right off the bat, but with a smaller pulley Id get that pump in as soon as you can.
