    Gotcha. I do a visual every so often. When I wash my truck I'll always wipe down what I can in the engine compartment and do it then. The one time I opened the resovoir for the s/c it was filled to the top.

    Mine is always about 3/4 full between oil changes.

    Gadget just emailed me back. Might be out of Y-pipes. 3 weeks for one if he doesn't have it. Sadness.

    I remember the catch can was a hot topic a few months back. I thought some felt that certain seals would or could dry rot so to speak if it didn't have that oil.....I hope I explained that somewhat correct. There was also a debate on what and where that oil does and what it exactly affects. I see it like this, if it is something our trucks really need wouldn't there be a ton of problems for the guys that don't have them? If I'm way off, school me and make me a believer. If it makes sense, I'll do it.

    Welcome to talking about superchargers on TW. The only thing that is for sure is a dissenting set of opinions.

    I still haven't installed the catch can I ordered... and honestly I might not do it. Not that I don't think catch cans are useless, it's just that I'm unsure of how great a device they actually are.

    I bled installing mine. Freakin' pcv valve is hard to reach. Tor has one. I drank the coolaid. Think of your intercooler filled with oil. I'm a believer. Join us.

    The only thing that was pointed out to me about it for TRD superchargers, is that if you dont have one, your intercooler will start to soak up that pil overtime and reduce cooling

    Ugh!!!! My hands cant fit lol. I ended up buying a set of like foot long needle nose to get in there and get that hose clamp on and off, now i just need to rig up a mounting spot

    So, I've seen how much oil it can catch. Would it be a wise thing to check the oil level and add a little to offset what's in the catch can? Or is it a dismissible amount?
