    Yeah it should be super easy but shit always happens with me lol

    I only get 200 miles on a tank

    ouch, I get 270 on average....300 if I run it nearly dry on a mostly highway tank. Still running stock size tires though.

    only if you give specifics of what these other trucks and mods were........... then that MAY be possible.

    all I cas say for now is lower load = almost zero parasitic loss, and thats a fact taken from eatons specs.

    I don't literally 'run it dry'....running dry to me is driving a few miles after the light comes on. I avoid doing that at all costs, usually fill up with 1/4 left.

    Is the 7th injector necessary for an '04 Tacoma? I read that the '04 has better (larger) Denso fuel injectors than the previous model years had. Curious if the 7th injector is something I need to invest in or not.

    I have 04 injectors and I wouldn't even run the truck without the 7th

    I was gonna say maybe you need to retune it. I know I have to cause I'm using up a good amount of fuel as well - it was tuned when I had p0171 so the idle was low and rough so it needs to be adjusted again. I need to check my ultragauge to check my fuel specs.

    No AFR gauge. I used to get pretty bad pinging but that almost entirely went away when I upgraded to colder iridium spark plugs (previous owner had the stock copper ones in). I occasionally get pinging under high gear/low RPM (freeway for instance), but only sometimes.

    Gadget relates to the high gear low rpm ping and has warned ppl about it for yrs.
    This also could cause rotor slap.
    do not accelerate in an overly high gear.
