    Yeah I read Gadget's write up on that awhile ago, 7th injector is in the works for me eventually.

    Sure hope it isn't rotor slap, it sounds just like the spark knock I was getting prior to upgrading the plugs. But it's rare that I hear it anymore.

    rotor slapping sounds like the racket u get when you shut the truck off iirc.... I dont try to replicate it :)

    You sure it's pinging and not the sound of the s/c? On mine you can kinda hear the rear needle bearings when it turns, sounds kinda like a diesel but no issues.

    Prior to the iridium plugs it was definitely pinging/knocking, sounded like a kid on adderall was violently shaking a can of marbles in my engine compartment. Not a good sound...went away after the plug swap

    What do you mean by that? So the fuel gauges on my ultragauge aren't giving me accurate numbers?

    Lol sounds pretty cool to me and the whine is just a plus. Can't wait till I get my TRD headers and TRD catback exhaust in!

    depending on pullies and intakes, it can be louder or quieter

    also should vary a LITTLE when the ac kicks on and off
