    Thanks I'll give that try, sounds easy enough. What do you mean 'make sure it has full range of motion'?

    I'll pop the hood and take a look, see if I can't figure it out...thanks for the suggestion

    Found this bit of info from Gadget on customtacos.com...

    Re: 3.4 TRD Supercharger Bypass/Actuator valve

    You do not need to make any adjustments to the bypass valve.

    There are travel stop adjustment screws that prevent over travel which could cause the valve to get stuck in the bore and not open and close properly. That should not ever need to be adjusted.

    To see if it is working is very simple. Engine off, note the position of the valve. Start the engine, the valve should now be all the way in the other position. If does not work that way, figure out why.

    Tried this method and the bypass valves seems to be working properly, it shifted positions completely from on versus off so I think I'm good there. I can use my finger to move it back and forth with ease so nothing seems to be inhibiting it, although it is really dirty from all the dust/grime in my engine bay from all the wheeling I do. Giving it a good cleaning but I don't think the bypass valve is the issue, at least it's ruled out though. Guess I should try to figure out how to check the belt tension now

    Try driving with the vacuum hose disconnected from the bypass valve. It should stay in closed position and boost should come on quickly.

    You boys looking to do headers. I know everyone says you gotta disconnect the steering link to get room to get them in and out, but I was able to disconnect the front drive shaft to get the needed room. Thought I'd share

    Magnaflo with the built in cat. Found them for a great deal then made auto anything price match because I didn't trust the other vendor. Seemed sketchy haha.

    Which finding? That bully dog tuner didn't work? I did at first. Then Toyota couldn't flash my ecm either and I required a new ecm. In my research, that was an issue from the factory in 2009. I never tried the bully dog after I got the new ecm to test it. Toyota guaranteed and warranted the flash they did so after the huge headache I decided to left them flash it. Would the bully dog have worked with the new ecm is anybody's guess
