TRD supercharger

I have a leak somewhere on my coolant. Doesn't leave puddles, but I have a pink residue on stuff around the reservoir. Maddening. Clamps all seem good

 

I get the same shit, but it looks like its all around the cap. I'm wondering if heat saturation is causing the coolant to boil a little or something?

 

No, I don't have one.

 

Refilled a while ago and the pumped kicked on and circulated. Made me feel better.

Looks like you moved your resivor? Is it on the driver side fender?

 

Nope, that's where the directions said to mount.

 

Interesting.. Casue were both 6speed but mines mounted here

You guys have a sport or a TRD OR. You guys have that little reservoir next to the cab I don't.

One has a break booster, one does not. Install directions vary on mounting location of res based on this feature.

 

Yeah I couldn't remember which one had what. You guys must have OR's, VS my sport that doesn't have that

Lol. All I care about is that my reservoir leaks from somewhere and I can't figure it out!

But I like the new pulley. Not dramatic, but it spools faster. Headers...

Blower is belt driven, soooo spool?
maybe i dont understand the way they work but, the rpm of the engine dictates rotors rpm multiplied by the ratio of the pullies right?

So is it really "spooling" up quicker since the entire ratio changed, its always spinning x amt of times faster than the 3" pulley would at any given engine rpm?

The belt drives the nose, the nose is a shaft and connects with rotors via gears right? So its a direct drive yes?

The whole point of a roots blower is no lag i thought.

Im open to any corrections, im just thinking out loud here.
