    14mpg highway is really bad. Do you have an aftermarket roof rack/lightbar on top? A plate bumper that opens up the front wheel wells? Oversized heavy E-load tires? Heavy steel wheels? If larger tires, are you remembering to factor in the mileage delta caused by the larger tires from the odometer reading when calculating mileage?

    So, I think it's all about your right foot. I can't keep mine out of it. Cruising on the highway it seems about the same, but get in traffic and I find myself using the HP to get around people.

    I admit to having a lead foot, but when on the highway I usually set the cruise control to the speed limit if there isn't too much traffic.

    On the short bed you can't access the pump if you remove the bed. Don't know if it's different on the long bed. I was originally going to remove the bed myself thinking I could access it. It basically sits right below the rear seat on the drivers side.

    Possibly, and or too full. It is only plastic.


    The pump install instruction plan out how to drop the tank. It is by no means difficult, when the tank is low.

    I dropped the tank, get a tool for the hose / lid removal. The hardest part was getting those dame breather hoses unhooked. That part would be much easier with the bed off. If I had help/room I would have lifted off bed.

    I wants UCON too.:anonymous:.. maybe this summer. Not sure I want to venture into 7th injector territory with CA SMOG. Seems like would be PIA to take it off every two years. :burp:

    Yeah I'm on the fence about the 7th injector, but definitely 2.7 and UCON when I haz money. I have to swap to my stock intake and Y pipe anyways for smog.

    URD lists the 7th injector as required for 2.7". I guess maybe workaround would be 6 bigger injectors instead? That could be cost as much as kit but may not be as visible.

    Quick calculation borrowed from a corvette site indicates that the 61 lb injectors from URD should be enough even with 255 LPH fuel pump. But I'd have to ask Gadget to be sure. Looks like the 42 lb TRD injectors would be getting close to maxed out at some point.

    400HPx.75=300lbs. 300lbs/6 injectors=50lbs/hr. 61/.8=40lbs/hr injector @ 80% duty cycle.
