    The supercharger fit kit comes with a small ~1" flat bracket that functions as an offset to support the air box lower mounting bolt. I don't have a good picture handy but lets see if I can 'enhance' what I have...airboxbolt.jpg

    What intake are you taking off? If its the AFE then perhaps we can arrange something...

    Yeah the SC moves the throttle body over a bit, hence why I had to cut about an inch off of my URD intake

    Yup stock intake fit fine, but the 1" over through me off. I already had my CAI when I had the kit installed so I never had any idea it moved everything 1" over.
    Thanks. Makes sense now. I don't know where the heck that bracket got off to but everything seems pretty secure so I'm just going to leave it alone.

    Anyone do a spark plug swap on their truck after installing the blower? I just pulled my plugs out today after 25K miles of service. Took me about an hour exactly to do the swap, hardest side being the side under the blower. I found mine were horribly fuel fouled. Makes sense since the TRD tune makes it run pig rich at wide open throttle. I ended up throwing in some IKH24/ 5346 Denso plugs in there instead of the IKH22's. They came gapped at .41mm. Wow. Idle is glass smooth now. Feels a little peppier, AFR's at wide open throttle cleaned up from running around 10.5-10.8 to 11.3-11.5 and I was hitting 7 psi even in this 63-ish degree weather. I was unable to do that before. The only thing which is still sloppy is acceleration on part throttle, which on the fuel maps for the TRD tune (at least for mine) just dumps fuel in disgusting amounts for a bit until it finally cleans up. Either way. Very impressed with what the simple plug swap to colder heat range did for me. Maybe I can enjoy some slightly improved fuel economy, though I'm not holding my breath on that one. :thumbsup:

    Oh, it's great. I can't really tell a difference and when I was offroading last weekend it seemed to have just as much power on hill climbs. \

    I was running the Volant CAI with the air ram and Donaldson Dry Filter.

    You will love it! The overall feel of it since I have done them has went away because I got used to it, but initially it was a notable difference.

    Not boosted yet. Got it tuned in really well on my Haltech Elite 2500, with stock sized injectors. No turbo yet.

    Tune Haltech and increase familiarity with the software - fix Bimmer DD - purchase TIG welder - fab new turbo exhaust components - choo choo!

    There is one member here who went the extended mile to have Boomslang make a plug n play harness. For the '09 +. I'll have to find his thread. Turbo Xrunner, he has.

    It is a standalone. Piggyback wise, it is kind of how I am using is. Just for engine and throttle control. (Only governor is the one which I program. :D)

    Otherwise it can be wired in, just like any other piggyback. The 2500 is the most expensive version. They have a selection of levels going downward. Just need to find the one which fits your needs.

    Or you can wait for the purely plug-in UCON.
