    ^This, you need a gauge that actually pulls from your headers/Y pipe to get an accurate reading of your mixture.

    Ok. Well that makes me feel a bit better. The rest of the truck (drivetrain) is stock. Am I going to need to weld in a bung for that or could I just replace the factory o2 sensors. Also aren't the cats going to skew that reading if it's in the y pipe?

    You need to weld a bung and the cats will skew it a bit.

    Gotcha. So what is the best tuner? I wasn't really aware anyone but Bully Dog made anything for the 4.0.

    Get the TRD S/C flash. But if you already but the BD tune on you can't get it.

    Rumor has it that there is a shop in SoCal, which can get the plugs, to then make a jumper harness.

    I am still quite skeptical on that, so I give it a small chance of actually being true.

    If you want, I can direct you to the individual having one made with said plugs?

    Magnuson only uses the BD device to put their specific tune onto the Tacoma.

    BD has their specific tunes.

    The TRD reflash is available by dealerships, if they allow you to have it.

    URD UCON Advanced Engine management, is available for 05-08, and currently the '09+ if you purchase their S/C kit. Soon to be available to nom kit purchasers.

    I contacted the guy on here a while back who did it, he wanted about a grand to make the harness for UCON. Holding out for now since I've got a kid due any day now and have to put money in shock rebuilds and paint right now, but Performance is coming up soon on the list :D

    Oh. Ok. I had to have BD update my unit remotely (work firewall and such wouldn't let me do it.) So I figured it was BDs tune. I guess I'll stick with that then. Just wish I could do more with it like compensate for the bigger tires and stuff like they do for jeeps. Maybe Toyota won't let them into that side of things. Seems like it put a performance shift program in the trans though.
