    From what I am aware of there is no point in porting and polishing a Gen 5 M90 because it is already maximized in efficiency directly from Eaton. These mods were directed towards a less efficient Gen 3 and 4 M90 because they were not maximized in the least bit and very inefficient.

    Is there a point where too strong pump doesnt allow coolant to properly cool in heat exchanger?
    Need bigger 1 dem too?

    We are not talking a 100% increase in coolant flow. Hell, even a 50% increase. All I want to do is up the flow closer to 5 GPM and the Camaro style ZL1 electric water pump foots that bill just right. Even CTS V owners are upgrading their pump which uses the same PCA pump ours does.

    From what I recall in doing some research about our blowers, yes. I don't know jack about the Demons so I can't speak on their part, but we are comparing apples to oranges in blowers here. Two different animals with different airflow, efficiency and heatsoak characteristics.

    TRD SC, UCON, CNG conversion, RC 6" (lifted 4"/3" air suspension) w/FOX 2.5, 315/70R17 Duratracs, RECARO seats, etc.
    I think that a bigger pump helps anything, it's all about the heat exhanger. Change bigger core if you want cooler I/C. I have tested many with my ex-Land Cruiser and after many trial and error understood it's the main thing.

    Again comparing apples to oranges but I sure do hate the cooling system on my ZL1. Heat soak for days with a little bit of hot rodding, oil temp spikes up 50°. On the Tacoma however I never notice any heat soak but I am in for the different reservoir. I'm not a big fan of how the hoses route either around the master cylinder.

    Your reason for the majority of the heatsoak on the ZL1 is the inherent design which seals up the under hood bay too much I think. My old GTO used to have issues with heatsoak as well for the same design reason.

    Ahhhh ok see I'm worried about the TRD reflash locking up the ECU from anyone else reflashing for a different tune. Unless they get another guinea pig with good results I'll just wait for my bonus and go with UCON. Wouldn't want to change the tune and end up grenading an engine to soon. I'm not ready to LS swap just yet ;)
