Do you have the factory intake still? It is a major bottleneck in the system even with the secondary filter removed.

I am at work, but I'm slacking. ;)

    Good stuff man!

2.85 pulley at sea level ran 8.5 psi on my setup max. Normally I saw 7- 7.5 psi max effort, very rarely did I see 8.5, I believe a lot of that was attributed to this stupid jet which is no longer a player in the game.

If you are seeing 5, you either have other vacuum leaks, or you are above sea level. What is your altitude, and have you checked the rest of the system to ensure it is sealed?

    Afe intake.

1500 ft or so in phx but i saw the same boost in flagstaff and Calgary which are much higher.

I have looked for vacuum leaks but have found none, just yesterday every vac line I could find was checked on both ends

Yes but remember you still had the restrictor jet in during thst time, so boost was all over the damn place anyways. At 1500 feet the jury is out how much boost you will lose. Keep driving it and see if your consistent will be 5.5. It is too soon to say if that will be your consistent or not.

Wait. What sort of fuel pump do you have. Also how is your fuel pressure regulator set up?

I did the fpr mod a few times.
    Things got richer (not needed)
    Wasted more fuel.

Undid it, truck ran fine, less fuel used, not as rich afr.

Also no effect on the stupid lean issue when at partial throttle and creating boost.

Boost referencing. Google that term. Now, as far as boost goes, fuel is a major gamer in the setup and it is very important that the proper fuel volume be mixed with boost or else it WILL limit you boost. It limited me from hitting 10 for sure with my 2.5 pulley. Move your fuel pressure regulator hose to your boost port. You will feel a noticeable difference in take off alone and it should further regulate the amount of boost you are capable of consistently reaching.

The truck FELT sluggish with the fpr mod done (routed from boost port to fpr). Kinda makes sense as richer afr.... butt dyno tho

Yeah but remember he has Ucon, and he is also at a higher elvation, so not only is he leaner, but he also has the ability to compensate for such changes in fueling and elevation changes.

My truck personally woke up like a raped ape.

I played Hooky today... soooo :anonymous:

After removing the jet I gained .5-1lb of boost.

Tested my Bypass valve and no change, so that checks out OK.

Disconnected the Snorkel and tested, no change, just more CFM's/better response (which is always good obviously, may change it up depending on driving scenario), so that checks out OK

Still showing 6, flashes of 7 lbs. I checked vacuum leaks a few months ago with a smoke test machine. found one, sealed it.. but it could be back.. :notsure:

Last thing to check (which I have in the past, just need to do it again) is to replace the belts (shorter and Gates)

One more thing to go with the above.. is a new custom tensioner (since I've broken two now). There's a company I reached out to that said they would be willing to work with me on something. just need to provide them with the appropriate info and parts .. just gonna be $$$..

I have a new Coupler sitting on my workbench too.. I believe mine is going out (symptoms are "sounds like rocks in the blower during idle/low speeds"). Need to swap that in.. At that time I will inspect the bearings and rotors themselves.. as at that point.. that will be all that's left. My worry is the ceramic coating on the rotors is shot/needs an internal rebuild.

    Truck has:
    Airflow Snorkel
    K&N oiled filter
    TRD blower
    2.85" pulley
    Deatschwerks 255 Pump
    URD Spec U headers
    URD o2 sims
    IPT Valve Body
    3" exhaust
    Nitro 4.56's

shows a max of 7lbs. (after all the above tests... this 7lbs has been the best it has been in a long time). It normal shows 6lbs though... Just flashes 7.

    Thatz why i put ymmv.
I fingered others may find it beneficial, but its not for everyone.

I was fine at 7,000 ft without it done and making 7lbs iirc.

Ok as I said I dont know specifically which hose and specifically where I should put it.

Do you mean boost port on top of the sc? If that even is one

Yes, its on the top left side... towardz the rear.

Orange rubber cap unless you have taken it off for anything

Route the line from fuel pressure reg to this, and disconnect/cap the small line going from your intake to the fuel pressure regulator

Boost port has an orange cap on it as previously stated on back at the top of the supercharger. So your fuel pressure regulator has a hose that runs to a port on the intake air cleaner. Remove the hose at the intake air cleaner end and relocate that to the boost port end. FPR is now being boost referenced to supply the injectors the necessary fuel volume needed when boost is introduced at 1:1 ratio.
