    Yea the donut gasket looks super crushed and used, I pulled it off and was like...fuck...I didn't get a replacement, but as soon as you put it on the new stuff and start tightening up, everything goes together just fine

    So I just got my hands on a trd boost gauge......quick question....I got a hard but flexible rubber line. I plan on using it to run from the brass tube on the back of the gauge to the brass port on the s/c.

    My question is.....will it work? It shouldn't collapse because it is rigid.....it's just not the nylon tubing like what is normally used.

    Should be fine, I dont see why not. Maybe toss some hard pipe around where you punch through the fire wall if you really wanna be safe

    That was gonna be my next delema.....I've seen a couple threads of this install. People have gone through the fire wall the hood latch cable grommet to be exact....looks like in the pic it's by the steering column as well. Delema being if the rubber line I have is too thick to fish through the hole.

    Ok so go through where your main wire harness punches through. Trust me, there is pleeeeeennntty of room there. First time its always tight hehe. TWSS. In your case, put a coat hangee partly into the tube, electrical tape the shit out of it so its a smooth transition from tube to hanger....poke it through from engine side, and start pulling once you get to the tubing side. Works great with 2 people, but you can do it yourself if you go slowly and run back and forth a bunch. Careful you dont go in to much before checking under the pedals, you might accidentally puncture one of the wire harnesses under there

    Its right on the wheel well, its probably a couple inches across, with a big ass bundle of wires punching through.

    Yup. Just get your line all set up and go in from the engine side, once you get about 6" of the coat hanger through, grab a flash light and look underneath for it. I've found if you lay on your back looking up at the steering wheel, its easier to twist over and see in to the corner. Then just find your coat hanger and start pulling.

    That's the same way I ran the wires for my AFR guage, worked fine. Not sure if the rubber grommet is still waterproof though

    No, I just slid the wire right alongside of the harness. But I don't know if that could have left a little gap or something like that that water could get through

    I see......so I just found exactly where you guys are referring to.....I'm assuming you guys had to unbolt a couple of the brackets ......I believe one was the brake fluid....have to double check. For hand clearance??

    Ok first of all, that grommet probably isn't water proof in the first place, maybe water resistant, but if are fording rivers and have your engine bay submerged up to that grommet, you have other problems, so I wouldn't worry about a little gap. When I pulled everything out of my 2011, i had a good sized gap in there lol, just moved some wires around and it closed up a bit.

    Yeah....I can see that....about the water. I think because of the s/c the couple of hoses and brackets that are now there is gonna make it a pain.....but itl get done.

    I had to unbolt the bracket for the supercharger coolant reservoir but that's it. It's not that bad
