I like it....seems like i definitely have a little more throttle response. Not that this matters much but the weight of the urd compared to the stock y-pipe is night and day. I see you have the TRD catback as do I. it seems to be a tad louder, nothing too significant at all though. I'm assuming from the loss of the 2 cats.....all in all, i'd say its worth it.

Here is a question for the guys with the URD exhausts...3", i believe the mark lll.....Does that exhaust really make that much more of a difference on your truck than the TRD catback???

I'm glad I put it on for sure. I personally like the the added noise. It's not too much like I said, just enough. I was just worried of throwing a check engine light....until I found out (from someone on this site) that the rear cats aren't even monitored.....so taking them out throws no cels. If/when you do it.....Get the crush gaskets from URD (10 bucks each) you'll need 2. You wont need a new gasket for the connection from catback to y-pipe. It's a reusable donut gasket.

URD y pipe +URD Mark III 3" exhaust is tits. You're opening up more as well over the TRD Catback which is 2.5" IIRC

I think its a bit throatier compared to the TRD. I bit of rasp at the higher rpms due to 2 less cats, but it purrs pretty nicely. Still haven't installed the DT short headers, someday...

When i find a shop to do it, or have the spare time to pull the stockers and take to a shop. I still need to buy a bunch of Vbands though and still semi researching high flow cats. Prob stick with stock cats, just to prevent throwing codes, but semi tempted to have Vbands made with straight pipe and then vbands for cats so I can just toss cats and stock Y pipe in for smog

WOW. First active call for a header install quote ... $600 from the random shop next to my work. F that noise, I'll pull them myself if that's gonna be the case everywhere.

Yes. Have to chop stock cats off and weld on to the DTST headers. I think when I have a free weekend I'm just gonna pull them off myself, make a little jig out of wood or something, take it to a shop and have chop and weld. Shouldn't cost more an hundred or so.
