    So new oil in the engine (Mobil 1) and Redline Mt90 in the trans really made a bit of difference. Seems a hair smoother...black shit came out of both, So I'm guessing it was a good time. Trans plug magnet had a boat load of debris attached...probably what my clutch turned into :rofl:. Oh yea, that reminds me, time to order a URD Stage 3! Since I'm a URD fanboy and all, might as well stick with the club.

    So the TRD OR only has the electronic locker. Even in Auto LSD the nanny kicks in if you attempt to drift the truck. So annoying.

    Tonight I'll be ordering the full package. Flywheel/Clutch combo with Throw out bearing upgrade and all ARP bolts and all that.

    Let me ask you this, @Torpsd What's the difference between the Stage 2 and Stage 3? I'm not looking for a super racey clutch, just something that will engage a bit quicker and be able to handle the HP while holding up to some slippage and not turning to glass in another 5k miles. When I pound on it, I slip it alot, I know this. I realize I need to get better at it, but I'd like to order something that will not get trashed quickly.

I don't mind chatter, I was just talking to a buddy at work who said he drove a friends car that had a stage 3 in it and it bucked like a bronco when he tried to drive normally...it only worked great when he dumped the clutch on a full pedal or slipped it for 10 minutes lol. That's what worries me lol.

    The Cobalt was ok to drive normally. It grabbed really good so if you had poor clutch control, it'll let you know.

    Which, I basically relearned clutch on the Tacoma, having mostly ridden motorcycles, so my clutch control isn't the best in the truck still.

    If the URD is a sprung hub, it will make engagement easy. Even with a course material disk.

    URD Stage 3 is a higher torque capacity clutch. Which will handle the added vehicle weight and engine torque.
