So i havent really found any solid info using the search other than ride quality comments. If i score some used trd suspension, shocks, coils, UCAs, and leafs, for around 300 bucks is it worth it? Will i gain any additional height? I was thinking of doing a 2-1 leveling kit on my sr5, would that same leveling kit yeild the same results on the trd suspension?
Thanks in advanced for the info.

If you have to ask, you'll never know.

Just get em - the TRDOR suspension is awesome.

TRD suspension comes in 3 flavors ... sport, off road and Pro. Which are you specifically talking about?

It'll net you no gain, but will be more pleasurable driving. Really all you have to do is swap the coilovers and rear shocks. Save the rest for spare parts if anything.

    Get an alignment afterwards.

I have owned a 2016 SR5 and a 2020 TRD OR and I couldn’t tell the difference between the suspensions. Part wise, they are exactly the same except for the shocks. The ride height is the same, ie it won’t give you any lift. I don’t think it’s worth the effort to replace your SR5 shocks with OR shocks unless yours are spent.

The leafs and UCA are the same as your truck. The off road shocks are marginally better but not enough to warrant the trouble swapping them out. You’re better off buying 5100’s or another aftermarket set of shocks and installing those with your factory leafs and coils. That way you can dial in a small amount of front lift and level things out if you want.
