Trdparts4u covered under warranty

Hi all,

I'm running into a bit of a concern with Fox Toyota of Rochester Hills regarding a hard starting issue I'm having and parts being covered under warranty due to my TRD super charger.

I did purchase the supercharger and fit kit from TRDParts4u and I had Page Toyota (a different dealership) install it.

Now I must bring copies of all my receipts in order to cover my parts under warranty.

Has anyone else gone through the same thing?

I know TRDparts4u is owned by Toyota of Dallas but I'm concerned it will be considered an "outlet" store and not a true Toyota dealer and there fore not cover my truck parts under warranty.

FWIW, I do remember filling out and sending in the warranting information slip to TRD/Toyota when I had the supercharger installed.

 

If a dealer installed it and it was in fact all oem trd stuff you've got nothing to worry about until your drivetrain warranty is up.
