I have a 2013 TRD Sport Double Cab. It came with the chrome side tubes. I like them except for one problem. The cheap looking black plastic treads are coming off:(. I was thinking of pulling off the plastic and getting them Rhino Lined. Has anyone done this? Should I get the whole tube done or just the area where the plastic treads go?

Pull off the plastic and replace with skateboard grip tape...
