I can't seem to figure out why these guys get so much love for product quality and service on the jk and taco forums... Had nothing but trouble so far! Btw I am a csr at a consumer electronics accessories manufacturer, and always give businesses the benefit of the doubt on this stuff, since I do appreciate it when folks are courteous with me :)

I ordered the wardens in 265/75r16 load d.

Tires ended up being out of round, at least two bad and the others were marginal (yes, they were balanced per the tw instructions, and no, the wheels were not bent prior). I even had the shop recheck the balance was done correctly, which they did for free. I sent treadwright an email with invoice and info from the shop on Sunday 11/17 and heard nothing by eod Tuesday... While not good, I figured calling might be better. No answer from warranty folks on Wednesday and left a message in the A.M. No call back by the end of day on Wednesday, so a slightly more direct email was sent (after all, these are unsafe and the wifey is on my butt about ride quality). I just called them this a.m, the 22nd, no response, and left a message. What gives?

I'm having my old tires mounted and balanced tomorrow and sending these back to treadwright with request to refund... Can't even get a hold of their warranties dpt for an rma number.

Hope they will do the right thing and at least refund - really don't want to get the bank involved. I'm now EATING 120.00 on mount/balance plus shipping cost back to tw. Could have bought a new set of freakin' tires for the extra money from a reputable source.

This is my experience ^ maybe I was just unlucky, since other folks have reported differently.

Wrote this on my phone so excuse some of the txt speak and brevity.

As an update, it turns out my emails went to spam, and their phone system was having trouble (though it seemed to be working fine for presales questions and ordering... Hmmmmm). The guy or gal who responded was very polite and nice. Given the contact troubles and since I had already removed the tires and remounted the old ones, they are offering to pick up the tires on their dime, and will refund the amount of the tires - if confirmed that there are out of round, they will refund the initial shipping cost as well. Nice touch, if you ask me.

Still waiting to hear back about the next steps, it's been 48hrs since I asked... Will continue to update thread. Not sure anyone gives a rats ***, but it is worth noting IMHO. Maybe this should be in vendor review section. If so, can a mod move? Thank you.

Still haven't heard back as to how they want me to ship these back... In the spirit of thanksgiving, I'm thankful that they offered to pay the shipping and have the tires picked up- but a little annoyed by the lack of communication. Sad, really.

I remember seeing something on their site that they were having trouble with their phones. Seems like they are in a rural area with old style land lines. Really no excuse for the emails though. Id give some extra time due to the holiday weekend.

Totally, I'll send another email on Tuesday, or call through their sales line. Seems like they have better coverage on that extension. Every time I squeeze by the treadwrights in my garage, it makes me sad! They really looked much nicer on the truck than 265/70 well worn dueler h/t's. Oh well.

Yeah man, that's pretty much what they offered, but by then I had removed :-/ all's well now with yours? What was the issue with the one that was bad?

I haven't given up the thought of giving them another shot. Maybe in the future I'll get a second set of wheels/ tires only for knocking around on offroad adventures in 285/75 \m/

Still no response, disputed charge with bank :( for the record I've never disputed a charge that I have placed before. What a bummer! We'll see if they respond to the bank... That's the next step.

Disputed charge... Same person at treadwright I've been talking to emailed back 2 days later (surprise) giving more excuses about why they haven't sent fragging labels or scheduled a pickup. I said something like 'that's ok, can you email the labels, and I'll drop the tires by fedex?'

That was a few days back. Btw, I am sure I can get more traction (pun intended) by raising hell on their sales contact number and email, but I'm not really into that method. For one, I AM the guy that gets chewed out by unreasonable people on a daily basis - many times for something that is completely no fault of mine :) Secondly, they have a seperate contact channel for returns and warranty help, which they need to use or loose.

I'm bored, so thought I would check back in on this... No response since last post, tires are just rotting in my garage. Can't wait until the bank finalizes the investigation so I can dump these! think it's another 30days tw has to reply before the bank considers the matter finished. After that adios tires :) they'd prob make good spares for people that have 265/75, but def not as a daily driven tire.
