The only bad thing about this is that you now have 3 tires with 8,000 miles on them and 1 brand new one. That would irritate me.

Once again good for you but nobody cares. Go make a thread and boast about how cool you are because you buy new tires and see who gives a shit. I also buy new tires but that doesnt make me any better than someone who buys retreads

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Glad everything turned out good for you. Tire failures like that are freak accidents that can happen to anyone anywhere. I used to work for NTB and sears in my younger years. Brand new name brand tires, good name brand, sometimes would blowout right on the mounting machine. There were plenty of times we had to get a tow truck for customers who blew out fairly new tires, pretty frequently. I must say, excellent customer service on treadwrights part.

For what it's worth, I had a set of 285-70-17s on my Titan for a little over a year. I got the wradens with kedge grip. None of them were round and they all took over 12 ounces to attempt balance and even then they weren't balanced. Traction was okay, but I actually think original BFG ATs do better (rubber compound?). It was a good price for 5 tires for $780 shipped, but I wont get them again. Just my 2 cents.
