Apparently, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, it does it make a sound. Ouch! Sorry to read this. Hope it works out for you.:(

Man, that sucks. I'd be heartbroken.

I hope the property owner has insurance. If so, your truck damage should be covered under that.

    Sorry to hear/see it Jason.

    This truck...

A 2012 White DCSB 4X4 TX Pro (Mine) had a tree fall on it while driving up interstate 55. It was newer with less than 10,000 miles on it.

Roof, entire right side (front and rear fender, both doors) needed repaired in addition to the interior and windshield. I don't remember the cost but, it was right at $10k. I didn't even stop even tho it scared the dog shit out of me when it happened. Drove on to work and home the next day. Truck still drove like a new one so, I kept it.

My experience with trees and insurance companies is your insurance will pay for the damage. Neighbors tree fell on my house (about 10k in damage) and my insurance covered it. I asked them why and was told it was an agreement between insurance companies in general. Now, that was in NJ and your state could be different. Good Luck and sorry for the pain!
