Last friday in northern Illinois had a windy storm and unfortunately, my taco was a victim. Currently working with insurance. What sucks is that it recently hit the 200k mark Any thoughts?

Few dings and some minor rust. I was going to get a new bed to replace the rusted one.

    Front and rear glass both?

    Is the A pillar bent?

Miles and year will probably total it, even if it's not bent, but pretty positive it will if it is bent.

An A pillar is hard to fix and the glass will never seal if not fixed right.

You live in a salt area, right? Have you inspected the frame closely? If it's on the way out, the tree might have done you a favor.

If those are solid and they total it, see what the buy back would be. A local trade school might be interested in straightening up the roof. Then you could get the glass set and finish the top with Monstaliner and keep on rolling.

There is hope for all tacos if the frame is in good shape
That’s the most important thing first.
    If not
    Total it and move on
Just take the driver side head rest with you and send to me.

I would personally chop up the offending tree into very small pieces and use them as mulch to park the repaired truck back on top of.

    Excellent Advice.

    easy ttl loss IMO
    Not bc of roof damage
But bc that taco will fetch 55% or more of ACV the moment b4 the tree fell on her. Not front end not rear end impact (maybe 40% salv value for those impacts)

    2 pieces of glass…..run her!
