Ok I gotta get a beam shot. My 20" spot beam is def not a spot beam! It spreads very well though.... But I gotta get a beam shot when it's not raining. Maybe tonight.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
The spots throw alot of light all around, take a close up pictures of the LEDs, i think you can tell the difference by just looking at them

I just had a few minutes to look closer and started thinking I received an 18" light instead of a 22". On the Trek Lights webpage is shows length of a 22" light as 22" (seems logical) but mine measures 19 3/4" overall. That started me thinking that this is a 20" light and I am sure that is what it should be called. However, it does have 42 LEDs as the specs for the 22" call out . . . so I can only assume the light output is what they claim.

Right ! The Quantum LED group buy lists a 20" bar and the pic shows 42 CREE LEDS.

Trying to figure this out. The 12" from both companies is rated 5,700 lumens (apples to apples) but the 20" from Quantum with 42 CREE LED is 7,000 while the 20" we received from TREK (advertised as 22") is rated at 10,000 lumens. Both have 42 CREE LEDs.

Obviously, it is what it is but somebody needs to get their advertising and specs straightened out.

We had this issue with KMD (Quantum LED's) when his first GB opened...his lights were listed at 7k lumens but his website said 10k lumens....after we called him out on it he bent over backwards to explain to us what was going on and he immediately fixed it.

Honestly the manufacturer sends a list of the lights with all the specs for each light. The 20" (22"?) double row is spec'd at 10k lumens from the manufacturer...KMD tested it and checked it all out and found it to be closer to 7-8k lumens or so...but then agin, that's his manufacturer. It all depends where in China you buy them I guess :D.

Don't look to trek to answer questions on his own products. He STILL after everything can not bring himself to update anybody or answer questions, address issues etc... He said he learned a lot and that customer service is key and even gave advice to anyone in the same spot, and still fails time after time. You're better off asking other vendors about Treks products. What a joke...

My 33" measures 31" but the mounting brackets bring it to 33". Number of LEDs are as advertised (60). Also, advertised as 33" with mounting dimensions a little larger. Dont remember the exact size and Trek has removed the ES series from the website so can't refer back to it.

I've definitely learned...the size light you get...is the overall length...hence why some people say 22" or some people say 20"...I basically go for what I can fit on my truck...and lumen count lol

That makes sense if the mounting brackets are on the ends . . . but they are underneath on this light. That being said, it doesn't matter as long as we are getting the number of lumens that are advertised.

Exactly. However, unless someone has a lumen counting machine handy, we all just have to trust that what the manufacturer says is what we're getting

Anyone else get this when they track their number? after clearing customs its been in Canada for a day which is average to get to my house. Noone has been to my house, and i dont have any sort of message on my door saying 'we missed you'

woops, called the post office and they told me to check my mail box for that little peice of paper. took me to a place to pick up my light. took a measuring tape to it 18" light ordered, 16 inches of LEDs and 1 1/4inch of casing to make a 17 1/4inch light. came with mounting hardware, no relay or switch or Tshirt :p
