Yea for reals, anyone who thinks they are still receiving a light at this point really needs to put in a claim.

Yes, Trek pulled a !@#$%^& on TW members and will probably NEVER come clean with everyone that TRUSTED & BELIEVED in him...

BUT Florida has the highest Chapter 7 & 11's in the country...pennies on the dollar and largest creditors 1st...Will keep his house and probably most of his personal items unless it is CA$H.....

Truly SUCKS and wish this THREAD would go away BUT some of you are still TRYING for CLOSURE.....Good luck and most of you have the patience of Saints.....

 

who didn't get their lights? let me know, cant really do anything about it but I will change the OP and keep a list of members who didn't get their lights/got the wrong ones. might not help but hopefully it will remind troy who he owes money when he looks at this thread

Hey man, this is money we're talking about here. The man essentially STOLE from people here...

 

I understand, i would be really pissed if i never got my light. And its pretty awesome that people on this forum look out for eachother, but at the same time i am pretty sure it was one or two people who didnt get their lights. Theres alot of people talking shit and complaining who either backed out of the GB and got their money back, people who got their lights, and people who were not even involved with the GB. I posted a few days ago, i want people to let ME know if they didnt get their lights. I was never affiliated with trek lights, didnt get anything for free or any special treatment, but i backed troy the whole time and was very involved with the group buy, and now i feel really bad about it. I emailed troy about a month ago and he got right back to me, probably because i never bad mouthed him in the beginning. Im not backing him anymore though, he fucked up, and its really shitty that he isn't fixing the situation. If i was in his positition i would take money out of my personal paycheck to pay everyone back. I want to try to help if i can, and because i know he actually opens and reads my emails i would like to put a list together of people who didnt recieve their lights or got the wrong ones. I dont blame anyone for being pissed and talking shit, maybe im just sick of seeing this thread. Im not really happy with my situation either, $400 light and the thing is filled with moisture. I talked to troy about it, and he said he would replace it i it stopped working. I would rather see everyone get their lights rather than replacing mine through his "warranty" and i want him to know that. So ya im pretty pissed about this also, but you dont see me fueling the fire.

So anyone that didnt get their light, or got the wrong one please let me know and ill try to do what i can.

 

According to his FB account, he owns a very nice 4runner (wife drives), a beautiful White/Chrome Corvette (1965 if Im not mistaken), attended the Honda Classic, and on 16 May, visted the Gas Lamp Strip Club in San Diego.

He just returned from a trip to Munich Germany 9 June, where he (allegedly) attended some fine dinning with Gerard Butler...

The guy has money.

So I've had my lights for less than 2 months on my truck. Any reason one would turn gold? I'm going to put in a warranty claim and see where it takes me. I'm not holding my breath.

same exact thing happened to another "brand" of lights i saw on this forum somewhere...apparently it was a bad powder coating job from the manufacturer from what the seller said...just proves all the lights come from the same place.
