    No magnets.

    Those aluminum blocks attach to the (bolt down) tilt mounts.

    The blocks slide along the bottom housing of the light, allowing you to mount them in a wide variety of widths. Move them to the desired width and then tighten them an allen key so they stay put. Then bolt the tilt mount to your vehicle and call it done.
